The Thai Herbal Poultice Massage is a new addition to my treatments. A blend of Thai organic herbs are steamed and applied to the face using a variety of massage techniques. The skin absorbs the healing benefits from the herbs to soften & detox the skin, increase lymphatic drainage & boost the immune system. The main side effect of this treatment is softer, plumped skin! BENEFITS: - Reduces puffiness - Smooths complexion - Oxygenates skin tissues - Relieves sinus pressure - Calms, relaxes and eases muscle tension - Purifies & detoxes - Creates a healthy glow - Lifts, contours & sculpts the face This is a restorative & rejuvenating advanced facial, using a variety of treatment modalities. After cleansing with hot towels and a Dee’s Organics cleansing balm, specially chosen for your skin type, your face is then given a Thai Herbal Poultice massage using lymphatic drainage techniques and acupressure. The poultice is rolled over the face using lymphatic techniques for 30-40 minutes. While the heat softens the muscles, the Thai botanicals such as java apple leaf, hibiscus and geranium penetrate the skin, opening the pores and bringing a deep medicinal heat to the skin, to help melt away tension and soothe the mind. Next, warmed Gua Sha tools are used to sculpt, lift and tone the skin. While I feel my hands are my best facial tool while working on the face, the crystal Gua Sha tools give powerful benefits and can really help to release congestion in the tissue, release muscle tension, promote lymphatic drainage and overall enhance wellbeing, leaving you with glowing skin and a calm, relaxed mind. Thai Wai Facial Massage is then given to reinforce the other therapies. A cooling gel mask is applied to the face, full of Dee’s Organics botanicals and some skin boosting triple hyaluronic acid and Indian Head Massage is given while the mask penetrates the skin.
